Summary

The classes have been going well, we are learning different situations where each विभक्ती is used. We have started a few more सम्भाषणम् practice sessions.

Progress

Although classes are interesting, I think we are also learning from our simple exposure to the language. For instance, we have a 30 minute pre-class discussion where we try to talk in the language. We have also started attending daily कथामाला calls at 9.30 pm ET. I think I am gaining some comfort with the usage of the various विभक्ती, but I certainly need more practice. So far, we have covered everything upto पञ्चमी विभक्ती for ‘अ’ (m.), ‘आ’ (f.), ‘ई’ (f.) and ‘अ’ (n.) endings.

Thoughts

We need to practice speaking more. I am also a bit concerned by the upcoming exam.
