आरब्धम् उत्तमजनाः न परित्यजन्ति ।
Noble people don’t abandon what they’ve started.
क्षणशः कणशश्चैव विद्यामर्थं च साधयेत् ।
Learn moment by moment, and earn little by little.
सोत्साहानां नास्त्यसाध्यं नराणाम् ।
Nothing is impossible for those who are energetic.
उद्योगिनं पुरुषसिंहमुपैति लक्ष्मीः ।
Fortune comes to one who is persistent and lion-hearted.
क्रियासिद्धिः सत्त्वे भवति, महतां नोपकरणे ।
Great people succeed through inner strength, not external resources.
चित्ते वाचि क्रियायां च महतामेकरूपता ।
Noble people are the same in thought, word, and deed.
मूढः परप्रत्ययनेयबुद्धिः ।
A fool is led by others’ judgment.
ज्ञातसारोऽपि खल्वेकः सन्दिग्धे कार्यवस्तुनि ।
Even the most learned have doubts when undertaking a task.
विकारहेतौ सति विक्रियन्ते येषां न चेतांसि त एव धीराः ।
Those whose minds stay steady even when there is cause for temptation — they alone are truly brave.
गुणाः पूजास्थानं गुणिषु न च लिङ्गं न च वयः ।
Among the virtuous, virtues alone command respect — not gender or age.
क्षुद्रेऽपि नूनं शरणं प्रपन्ने ममत्वमुच्चैश्शिरसामतीव ।
Those of high ideals embrace even the humblest who seek their refuge.
जीवने यावदादानं स्यात् प्रदानं ततोऽधिकम् ।
In life, what we give should exceed what we receive.
