Pragnya (प्रज्ञा), in Sanskrit means pure knowledge or wisdom. While it will take a long time to reach there, I call this space by its name because I think it’s a worthy goal to pursue.
This website keeps track of my journey in learning Sanskrit, in the hope that it might benefit more people to know more about where to start and how to progress. For now, this will just include some of the resources I’ve been using and things I’ve learnt. Each week, I aim to post one page of my notes from all my learnings from any resource(s) that I’ve used. There are bound to be mistakes since I’m a beginner, but I hope I’m on track (if not, please let me know)! Same applies to other feedback: just reach out! Eventually, I’ll add an archive page and a collection of all my notes somewhere on the site, until then, you will have to go through the posts in the reverse chronological order from the home page. If you prefer a chronological order to get you started, here’s the first post on my motivation and such, followed by my weekly updates.
The website is built using Jekyll and the Lanyon theme.
